Canada selected for launch on long-haul routes
AIR FRANCE PROVIDES NEW E-SERVICE

Montreal, March 08, 2007 –

Air France e-ticket holders flying out of Montreal-Trudeau Airport can now obtain their boarding pass in under a minute when they check in using one of the 7 self-serve kiosks stationed in the airline´s check-in area. Air France has selected Canada as its point of departure to launch this service, which further extends the range of e-services the airline already offers at www.airfrance.ca, i.e. online booking and boarding pass printing from home or the office.

Self-serve kiosk features include the option of checking in from 5 hours prior to departure to the check-in deadline, multiple passenger check-in whether traveling with or without luggage, and securing boarding passes for connecting flights and return flights if within 24 hours of the departure time.

Also, passengers can choose their seats or modify their seat selection, print out a Travel Memo, even enter their Flying Blue card information for miles crediting purposes. Finally, passengers can book themselves on a different flight, provided the fare conditions of the original ticket are met.

The kiosks, also known under the acronym CUSSK, for Common Use Self-Service Kiosks, enable flyers to access their passenger file simply by swiping their magnetic passports, credit cards or Flying Blue cards. Flyers required to present proof in relation to their fare type (e.g. student fare) or passengers requiring specific assistance (medical cases or children traveling unaccompanied) must check-in through an Air France agent.

Eventually, there will be some 50 kiosks in the airport terminal for Air France passengers traveling through Montreal-Trudeau. The program will be introduced in the Toronto-Pearson Airport Terminal 3 CUSSKs to round out the Canadian launch in April.

Air France is adding a considerable number of seats on its Toronto-Paris flights effective April 30 until October 27. The airline will be operating a 436-seat Boeing 747-400 on this route, which means a 50% increase in passenger seating capacity.
