During its annual gala, Air France honoured the top performers of its distribution network in 2006 by inviting them to see the Cirque Eloise ‘perform´ at the Eglinton Grand.
Three Air France partners were awarded trophies for their outstanding contribution during the year, their support and professional ethics. The trophies, which were designed exclusively for the airline, are made from turboreactor airfoils mounted on crystal blocks. The recipients for 2006 were:

The evening also provided Air France General Manager and Vice-President Christian Lahccen with an opportunity to make known the airline´s features, novelties, course of action and objectives for 2007-2008. “Agility, flexibility, proficiency, precision, originality, exploits and execution accurately describe the circus performers we saw this evening, but they also reflect the outstanding work of our partners. These qualities speak volumes about your performance and the innovative ways in which you are facing the new challenges our industry,” declared Mr. Lahccen.
Air France´s distribution network in Canada consists of some 80 independent travel agencies, travel agency chains, tour operators and consolidators. Their performance is rated based on sales, their contribution to increasing the airline´s market share and helping the airline´s reach its objectives, and their role in securing business travel contracts.
