Planning to take a transfer flight at Paris-Charles de Gaulle?

In every terminal, we are here to help you with information and assistance so you can enjoy the rest of your trip.

• An information pack is given to you at check-in at your departure airport. It contains plans of each terminal with transfer routes. Keep it handy during your trip.
• On long-haul flights, a video entitled “Your arrival at Charles de Gaulle” gives you additional information.

• Once you arrive, follow the Transfer signs.
• Check your boarding terminal on the "Departing flights" screens
• Go directly to the "Departures" level of the indicated terminal.
  

In each terminal, you will find Air France Transfer counters. Our staff is at your disposal to answer any questions you may have, to issue your boarding card (if you did not check in all the way to your final destination), and to help if you missed your transfer flight.

Designated self-service counters are progressively being made available in the transfer and connections areas of many airport terminals. These counters are there to help you continue your onward trip.

You can now:
- check in and print out your boarding pass if it was not given to you upon departure, or if you missed your scheduled transfer,
- consult the boarding gate and boarding time.

For passengers of L'Espace Première or L'Espace Affaires:

• If you have a very short transfer time (between 30 and 45 minutes) for an Air France long-haul flight, you are welcomed personally upon arrival of your flight and accompanied to the boarding lounge.
• For longer transfer times, you can spend a while in the Air France lounges (this service is also available if you are a Flying Blue Gold or Flying Blue Platinum member). These lounges are ideal for eating, working, freshening up or simply relaxing.

Air France coaches:

If you are transferring from/to Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre, Reunion or Cayenne leaving from or arriving at Paris-Orly, you can take advantage of a free transfer service via Air France coach between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Orly.

Go to an Air France Transfer counter where a coach ticket will be given to you.

• In most cases, if you have a transfer to a flight leaving from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, your baggage is checked in all the way to your final destination.
  You do not have to take care of it!
  

• If you are transferring to a train (TGV) or a flight leaving from Paris-Orly: you must pick up your baggage from the belt by following the "Baggage reclaim" signs.
  You can then make your way to the Air France/Thalys counter in the TGV station or to your flight check-in counter to check in your baggage.
  

• If you are arriving by train or from the Paris-Orly airport and you are taking a flight from Paris-Charles de Gaulle: go to the check-in counter for your transfer flight in order to check in your baggage at the terminal indicated on your boarding card.
  
  
  

• If you are arriving from a country within the Schengen* zone and traveling to:
  

- another country within the Schengen zone, Geneva or Basel-Mulhouse:
you do not need to undergo the police and immigration formalities. You can go directly to your boarding gate.
- a country that is not within the Schengen zone:
you must undergo the police and immigration formalities before boarding your flight.

• If you are arriving from a country not within the Schengen* zone and traveling to:
  

- a country within the Schengen zone, Geneva or Basel-Mulhouse:
you must undergo the police and immigration formalities before boarding your flight.
- a country that is not within the Schengen zone:
you do not need to undergo the police and immigration formalities. You can go directly to your boarding gate.
